I don't have much time but I just had to jot these little tidbits down before I forget them. Great stuff just keeps coming out of my kids' mouths!
Yesterday morning:
Ella: Mama, want to hear a joke?
Me: Sure.
Ella: How do you wake up Lady Gaga?
Me: How?
Ella: Point her face!
Me:
Ella: Hee, hee, get it?
Jack: Ella - it's not POINT her face, it's POKE HER face.
Ella: Oh.
Hahahaha!!!! First of all, the fact that she was telling a joke was funny enough. But to have it be about Lady Gaga and then for her to blow the punch line was even more hilarious. She looked so proud of herself.

It's splendid you're writing these things down. So many of us wish we'd collected the oral histories of family. I remember Gaile recording your Bobune's singing. There's a movie of uncle Gediminas and your dad on an Ontario tobacco farm, Richard running down the lane and his pants falling down. Algis Barauskas has the film reel and has spoken of transfering to video.
Of children's humor; my brother Andy has an autistic son named Gabriel. Once they were driving to a park, my brother said, "It's out in the country." Gabriel then asked, "Is it 'out' the country, or 'in' the country?"
