I am still suffering writer's block. Every time I sit down to write something silly, it seems trivial. Every time I sit down to write something meaningful, I can't get the words out. I've avoided watching the news but have been drawn to the stories in the paper and online about the lives lost in Connecticut last Friday. Every time I think of that day I picture my own neighborhood school, my own kids, their teachers.
So in lieu of writing something profound myself, I've copied and pasted something that I saw on Facebook today. I'm not sure who wrote this, but I'm not taking credit. Read, enjoy, and live each day to its fullest.
1. Be honest.
2. Kiss those you love.
3. Say “thank you”, “I love you” and “great job” to someone each day.
4. Love your life and what you have been given, it is not accidental – search for your purpose and do it the best you can.
5. Dreaming does matter – it allows you to become that which you aspire to be.
6. Forgive - it frees the soul!
7. Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know.
