Just had to get this one down before I forget it. Another classic conversation with Ella.
Ella: Next year I want to play soccer in the fall and spring, but not in the winter. That's too much.
Me: That's ok. Maybe you can do winter swim instead. Would you like that?
Ella: Yeah! (big smile) Well, if some of my friends do it, I think I would like it.
Me: Maybe your friend Meghan will do it next year, wouldn't that be fun?
Ella: Yeah!!! (more big smiles)
Me: Maybe we could even have a carpool, that would be nice.
Ella: Oh, yeah! That would be so awesome! It would be so cool to have a pool in our car.
I can't make this stuff up.
